One can only dream about being featured in the biggest free national
newspaper that is the Metro. But in December 2017, 3 weeks before the
greatest gift-giving period of the year, My Icon Story secured TWO features in the paper.
As someone who picked up the Metro every day on my commute into work,
I’m familiar with Metro’s content and normally have enough time to read from cover to cover. One of my favorite features is ‘Behind The Idea’ – a third of a page dedicated to sharing stories of exciting, interesting and
groundbreaking ideas, innovations, and businesses.
After getting in contact with Metro and sharing My Icon Story’s concept and business, a date was confirmed to schedule our Behind The Idea feature in time for us to get our brand seen by thousands in the market for buying Christmas gifts.
