The third feature in our #printfluencer series and it gives me great pleasure to introduce Erica Wolfe-Murray, Founder of innovation studio Lola Media. Erica is a business and innovation expert whom I personally met about 2 years ago in Soho House. It started as a casual compliment about my laptop case and soon turned into a full blown conversation about what we both did and a wonderful relationship blossomed. Erica has been a great supporter of My Icon Story and personal mentor for me as Founder, so it’s an honour to be able to shine a light on her and her amazing business.

I help companies across the creative, culture and tech sector to innovate with what they already own, finding new revenues and audiences.
Did you have a job/career before starting your business?
I’ve worked across all the creative sector, both as a Creative Head and a Financial Director – an unusual pairing of skills.
Why did you decide to start your own business?
I realise that lots of organisations – both large and small – had hidden and underused intellectual assets which could help build companies in ways they’d never anticipated.

Tell us the story behind your My Icon Story print?
I’ve always been a bit of a wild child, a cat who walks alone. I used to set off across Europe on my motorcycle with a tent to see where the road would take me. But having a family became an important part of my story, and when my four children all grew up – I went back to setting off on expeditions and adventures in my holiday times. My children, my work and my life are very happy.
