Happy Friday people!! We’re back with our second Female Founders #Printfluencer feature and we had a great response from our debut post last week. Thank you to everyone’s support and encouragement, it put a massive smile on our faces.
As you know, every Friday, we’ll be sharing the story of a fabulous Founder and of course featuring their very own My Icon Story print which they created on myiconstory.com. We’ve kept the questions short and fun because lets face it, we’re more about icons than words after all.

FRANKIE COTTON, FOUNDER OF LET’S BE FRANK
In a tweet (280 characters) what do you/your business do?
Founded in 2017, Let’s Be Frank is a modern management consultancy that supports mid-market businesses to overcome their growth challenges, focusing on marketing, business development, management, brand and culture. We are also launching an incubator programme for start-ups in 2020.
Did you have a job/career before starting your business?
My career background is in strategic marketing, sales and business development for technology companies ranging from £15MIL-£100MIL turnover. I also worked closely with my husband to launch two companies in the health and fitness space.
Why did you decide to start your own business?
I always knew I wanted to start a business of my own one day, but I didn’t know what it would be. Starting a business has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done and it really does test your resolve, but I wouldn’t change it for the world!

Tell us the story behind your My Icon Story print?
World – I love to travel and have travelled a lot for work when supporting global companies and projects
Feminism and Diversity – I am extremely passionate about tackling gender inequality in the workplace and promoting diversity in business
Tower Bridge – I walk over this bridge every day on my way to work in the City and back home to Bermondsey. I feel very lucky.
Podcast – I host and produce a podcast called Women On Top and was co-host and producer of Bossing It by Found and Flourish.
Tech / Laptop – I’ve always worked for technology companies and a lot of my clients are tech companies too.
